Welcome to The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, Ohio
The Animal Welfare League was established in 1969 primarily because of the deplorable conditions existing at the Trumbull County Dog Pound. The Animal Welfare League Incorporated in 1971 and has evolved into one of the premier shelters in the State of Ohio. The Animal Shelter was established in August 1984 when we purchased and extensively renovated an existing boarding kennel located in a beautiful rural setting.
